My biggest problem with ADHD stimulant meds (methylphenidate instant and ER, and Vyvanse) is that I’m exhausted after taking them for a few days. The psychiatrist I saw at the time seemed doubtful of this lasting impact and didn’t have ideas other than to try different meds. I been off meds for a year but am in a new role now where I need the extra help. I hate the crash and my wife gets mad when I’m too tired to help on the weekends. Taking meds all the time made me too tense. Suggestions?

Been on the max dose of Prozac (80mg) for about a year now for anxiety, depression and impulse control. After being stable for some time, I feel myself sliding back into depression. I can feel tears in my eyes and come close to crying for no reason nearly every day. Also feeling very uncomfortable around people. In my past, feeling depressed all the time led to bad (sometimes even risky) life choices. I don’t want to find myself back there. Is my medication no longer working or is this normal?

I have an offer from Proxima and Accenture (procurement practice). Which one to take? 3 YOE and Accenture providing 20% higher pay. Relatively same title. Proxima is growing quickly and work with Bain - so some positive exposure? Accenture has a larger team, more variety of projects, etc. But i've heard of their struggle to retain talent the last few years

Any other guys on an SSRI? I started Prozac a few years ago and it’s hasn’t really killed my sex drive but has killed performance if you know what I mean. It really sucks, I’m on 60mg for ocd so it’s a pretty high dose. I heard Wellbutrin could help but wanted some opinions. I don’t use any other social media so figured I would ask here.

Anybody moved from non-pro drug (concerta) to a pro drug like vyvanse? I’m on concerta 36mg and my body is basically processing it too fast. My therapist and doctor suggested either moving to 52mg (but I had the same problem on 27 then 36 so I feel it’s just going to delay the same problem) or move to Vyvanse (or similar).
