Today I celebrate two milestones: my first anniversary at Comp 2020 and my birthday. This past year has been a rewarding experience, and I'm especially grateful for the significant professional growth I've achieved over the past 12 months.I want to thank management and my colleagues for their support and for providing a stimulating and motivating environment. The development opportunities here have been exceptional, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to our collective success
I've been in IT Project Management for nearly 30 years. I'll be 62 soon, so not ready to retire, but tired of PMing. I know that ageism is very real. I am still working full time and making ok money. But I really want to do something else. Something that uses my PM skills but doesn't have me tied to a desk for 9+ hours a day. Has anyone done or thought about a major pivot nearing the end of a professional career? It's daunting!!
New York Times put out their top 100 movies of this century and then allowed readers to vote for their own top 10. I love this type of engagement, though it does require a NYT login to access. Do you think they got a significant amount of account registrations from this? If you want to vote: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/movies/reader-ballot-movies-21st-century.html#
What do you call a billion-dollar company that brags about having another record setting year for profits in 2025 (4 consecutives years I might add) AND touting how much they care about their employees all while giving them less than a 2% annual salary increase? Asking for a friend.
Millennials are collecting “once-in-a-lifetime” events like badges. Recession, pandemic, inflation, layoffs… and counting. Somewhere along the way, stability started to feel like the rare outcome. It definitely changes how I think about career planning and risk. Has this shaped how you approach your career too?

For millennials working at PwC EY Deloitte and KPMG, what is your age, net worth, and title? Do you guys feel finally comfortable and do you think public accounting has been financially worth it despite the crazy inflation we've experienced over the past 5 years?
Millennials … or anyone in their 20s or 30s: I am curious, how do you feel about your financial future or ability to retire at reasonable age? What’s your plan for the next decade or long term? Feels like a grind and the system isn’t really set up for everyone to do well ….
Hello! I am senior PM with 12+ years of experience. I just realized yesterday that my PMP has expired and now PMI is asking me to go through the examination again. I got my PMP in 2020. I want to know how many PMs maintain their PMP consistently? And does it hold any real benefit?
CD, GCD, ECD, etc: are you all millionaires? If so, what age did you hit milestone and what’s your current financial situation?
