Meta is pretty openly discriminating against Americans internally. PSC / the system is built on easily faked metrics that the directors in charge of alter at others whims. This ends up getting abused at scale in the company. People aren't getting hiring for skill or kept, they're pushed in an out by politics that have nothing to do with the job. This ends up affecting the rest of the world, with this same bias spilling out into how ads on meta platforms work.

Is there anybody out there who works at Meta customer service? I really don't understand the illogical approach that you take to reviewing/resolving customer issues, especially those that concern access to business manager when previous admins have left without transferring credentials. Your customer service reps are among the worst in the business, up there with Microsoft. I have many clients who have lost advertising access to the Meta platform due to this incompetency.

Meta is cutting 8,000 more roles to focus on AI-driven efficiency. It feels like the industry is moving away from big teams toward hyper-specialized roles. I’ve been contacted by a recruiter for a Content Specialist role at meta for a specific language. Is there anyone else here that has experience working in this role for Meta? Job-hunting has gotten so exhaustive and I really need money to get by. I would not normally consider Meta, but after applying for part time jobs and still not getting any response back… I feel like this is my only chance right now.

A memo viewed about the Superintelligence hiring freeze states that since Meta is beginning to plan its budget for 2026, and “with such significant change and growth in our org in 2025,” the company is “temporarily pausing hiring across all MSL [Meta Superintelligence Labs] teams, with the exception of business critical roles.” Looks like there are some more problems at Meta…

If you had the option to choose from Bloomberg and Meta, which one would you choose and why? I don't have a big tech experience yet, and my aim is to progress into technical leadership sooner rather than later. I read the Meta's values and they are something that I am looking for in my career right now. Bloomberg is a typical Senior SWE position.

Meta leaders were openly bigoted and racist during layoffs. People there are more than willing to make up excuses why the company is lacking any real diversity anymore. But people were targeted / gaslit and pushed out. While the average Metamate isn't racist, they sat back and didn't do anything for their peers.

Is it worth trying to work in product marketing for Meta at the moment? They probably have the best compensation for PM roles as compared to other options, but I just feel like it'd be a very short career to have, considering how bad the layoffs and things are. Have you ever worked for Meta? How would you describe the work culture there?

Wow, Meta is laying off in the AI group? But AI is supposed to be magical and able to replace everyone? And they're giving up on it? But it's going to be magical and free to use. Wow, I can feel my future salary demands rise as I type. =)

Hi all, I’m an undergrad CS student trying to apply for Meta internships. A friend who works at Meta tried to submit a referral for me, but they only see PhD-level roles in the referral portal. Does anyone know if Meta is still accepting referrals for undergrad internship roles. Any insights would be really helpful. Thanks!
