I have a great deal to offer an embedded systems/firmware programmer position having well over 20 years experience starting from Hewlett Packard's Network Printers to most recently Lockheed Martin's and Teledyne/FLIR's UADs. I'm very competent in C/C++, Core Java, and Bash scripting. I also have experience with ARM-based microcontrollers like the STM32 series and microprocessors like i.MX, and RockChip (RK3566).

Left McKinsey and not loving my role at all hedge fund in the tech org. Been struggling with not having a clear growth path like we had at the firm. I still have a lot of drive in me and had always hoped to be a high earner like a partner would be. Anyone in MBB that has done the boomerang and would be willing to talk? Has anyone successfully moved upstream from a boutique (M&A) to a larger firm like Jefferies? Current analyst with outsized responsibilities and ownership, strong execution reps, acting as a de facto associate across multiple live deals ($100M+ deals). Thinking this should be strong but lack of brand name may be a challenge. Trying to figure out where I land. Thoughts?

Going into final round interview for McKinsey, any folk there have advice on how to prepare for this stage? My R1 feedback was to improve linking the charts together to gain that final piece of insight for the exhibit question, anyone have good places I can practice this? McKinsey & Company

Is it true you can't buy, sell, or hold stocks at ALL at McKinsey and BCG? Debating whether to take an offer from one of the two. Seems like a pretty bad deal considering the bull run that's happening McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group (BCG) .

For FinCen/FBAR reports, does it matter what exchange rate site you use (treasury v oanda v something else)? Seems they all have slightly different fx rates which I don’t really get in general but curious if it matters or if we can pick one and run with it.
