Hi. Received a pre approved personal loan offer from American Express for $40000. The rate of interest is 9.9% for 3 years. Just wondering that someone who avails this loan ends up paying approx $6500 as interest (based on Amex calculator) and if they borrow and invest in a decent stock/fund they can get a better value from it.
